Refresh

Meeting at Rode Chapel, Rode & The Hub, Norton St. Philip

Refresh is Hardington Vale’s exciting church youth group. We have built up a small group of young people who regularly come along. Refresh is a time when we can come together and learn more about what it means to be a Christian and how we can grow as Christians as we get more involved in our schools, colleges, universities and also as we get more involved in the church. Plus, we also have some fun along the way with music, video, games and plenty of food and drinks. Refresh is a very relaxed and chilled out environment with fantastic and friendly young people, led by Iain Nash (Parish Youth Worker) and Lizzy Etheridge from Rode.

During Autumn 2010, we will be running a series called X = GROWTH. This series looks at helping young people to explore and develop their faith. That becoming a Christian is not the end, but the beginning of a new and exciting journey and this series is all about learning the essential skills for the journey ahead as we grow in our faith. The series was researched to fit in with the autumn teaching programme throughout the parish which Rev. Nigel Done is calling The Art of Living Well – Growing the Church in Hardington Vale.
